It’s that time of year again, summer vacation is over, kids are back in school and the weather is starting to change. Our oldest daughter, Leia, is in First Grade now and we’re excited for her to achieve more educational milestones this year. We look forward to hearing all about her school adventures as we share about our days at the family dinner table each night. It’s hard to believe that she was just a Kindergartner last year—time really does fly by, faster it seems with each passing year. Before we know it, in a few short years our youngest daughter, Auggie, will be setting off for her first day of school too.

But, I digress, back to Leia and everything she’s going to learn in First Grade has me thinking about what a foundational grade that is, and having a solid foundation is not only important in education, but also important when considering a home purchase. Do you like what I did there? The perfect segway into how my team at Hackenberg Realty Group thrives on helping our clients purchase a home with a solid foundation.
